Fishing Derby!

The Eastern SportFish Association (ESA) is an organization formed to promote, develop and sustain the recreational sport fishery in Guysborough County, thereby providing economic and social benefit to residents.

ESA encourages folks of all ages to go fishing in 2012, especially our youth, so a special event is planned for next month.

On Saturday, June 23, 2012, ESA will host a fishing derby. The location is Nimrod’s Rest Campground on Hwy 211 near Sherbrooke NS. Derby time is 8 am – 12 noon. Rain date is Sunday, June 24.

Please note that participants 16 years of age and over must have a valid 2012 NS general fishing licence.

There will be contests, prizes and a barbeque. All are welcome.
